The Lincolnshire Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association has the sole aim of serving all those people in the area affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This includes people with MND, their carers, family and friends.
We also liaise with health and social care professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists and the medical profession.
Our Branch holds regular Branch and support meetings in Lincoln and Boston for people living with MND, their carers and families. We have a newsletter which is distributed quarterly to all our members.
Fundraising and raising awareness are also very important aspects of Branch activities, and we are organising several events throughout the year.
The Lincolnshire Branch is completely run by volunteers. We are always interested in hearing from people who can help with the events or who would like to help us.

Boundary Mill Stores at Great Gonerby, Grantham chose the Motor Neurone Disease Association as their Charity of the year and raised the magnificent sum of £4889.21 for the Lincolnshire Branch! On 17th September, Veronica Wellman the store manager presented the cheque to the Branch Chairman, Gordon Hickmore.
The money will be used to provide support for MND patients in the Lincolnshire area and for clinical research into the disease. Our thanks go to all the staff for all their hard work in raising such a wonderful donation.
