Lincolnshire Branch

The MND Association

The Lincolnshire Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association has the sole aim of serving all those people in the area affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This includes people with MND, their carers, family and friends.

We also liaise with health and social care professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists and the medical profession.

Our Branch holds regular Branch and support meetings in Lincoln and Boston for people living with MND, their carers and families. We have a  newsletter which is distributed quarterly to all our members.

Fundraising and raising awareness are also very important aspects of Branch activities, and we are organising several events throughout the year. The Lincolnshire Branch is completely run by volunteers. We are always interested in hearing from people who can help with the events or who would like to help us.

For more information about the work of the Association, and up to date information regarding the disease, care and research, please visit the National Office website at:

On her skydive challenge!

Kerry Rivett’s dad, Peter Hopwood, died of MND in May 2010 aged 61.  He received great support from the  MNDA and particularly  from his local branch in West Yorkshire.  Kerry who now lives  near Lincoln,   is  planning with her sister, to complete a sponsored sky dive on Saturday 16th July to raise fund for the MNDA.    Your support would be  most welcome so please click on the link to the just-giving website and make a donation now!
